I was never happy with the cover art I originally used for my erotic horror fantasy, Demon Seed. The stock images that were available at the time were really lame. But now that AI image generators can help you realize almost any scenario. I thought I’d update it. But that was not as easy as it sounds.
The AI image generators all balked at the bondage and forced arousal elements I asked for. And I think it took about 1,000 tries, but I finally got one of the AIs to give me something decent.
I know the image still doesn’t convey the non-consensual element of the forced arousal fantasy, but it does sort of convey the transformation aspects of it, where the supernatural sex transforms the woman into a more sensual being as well as the demon’s willing and devoted servant. It’s similar to the transformations in some of the erotic horror novels that were popular back in the 1980s, and this cover does sort of remind me of the covers for some of the paranormal romance and erotic horror novels I’ve read. (Yes, I’ve read a few paranormal romance novels. Blame the librarian for stacking them with the sci fi and fantasy novels.)
