I maybe a talented writer, but I’m absolutely awful when it comes to marketing and self promotion. So I need you’re guys perspectives.
I’ve always used the first 1-2 minutes (introduction) of my recordings for the previews. These intros explain the theme and goal of the recording with a little pre-induction patter to create anticipation.
But I’m reading a bit on marketing and sales conversion, and this article tells me that’s a very poor strategy. It recommends that I use more sexually explicit segments for my previews.
What do you guys think? Do you prefer explicit previews? Does the explicitness of the preview influence your purchase decision? Should I replace all the audio previews on my website?
